New Poken Release (Urban, 2nd November)

We are happy to announce the latest Poken release (Urban). This includes updates to the Poken Member Hub and Reseller Hub web sites, and each now comes with some great new features included.

Member Hub

• Clustered contact map: Too many contacts on your map got impossible to distinguish or even to click? Solved! The new map groups contacts by region and resolves those "clusters" by click or by zooming in.


• Enhanced contact list: We made contact management easier for our power users. You will not only see important profile details on first sight, the new search also scans tags and notes now. Give it a spin, we'd love to hear your opinion.


• Filter your timeline: Hide duplicated entries for contacts you pokened several times or hide those unregistered contacts that still need to register their new Poken.


• Sync My Poken: Synchronizing your precious collected contacts is easy after understanding the mechanics. We simplified the steps, guiding new users through every step of the synchronization process. Considering the constant feedback, there should be an answer for every question provided in the new Sync My Poken interface.


• Enhance your profile: User profiles rise and fall with their richness. To get the most out of their profile, we share our expert tips with users. Tips help users complete their profile, upload contacts, etc


• NavTeq Widget - for the non-Google maps users we added the custom NavTeq Map widget


• Small Monitor Resolution – for those using monitors 1024 or below, we have adjusted the web site to better fit the small monitor real estate and maximize the user experience.

Reseller Hub

• New Master campaigns feature in the Reseller Hub – allows Resellers or pokenCAMPUS organizers to create sub-campaigns and assign default behaviors for when a campaign is ended.


• Advanced Search – added the ability to search for pokenEVENTs by organization name
  


• Card Preview - enhanced card preview options for when pre-creating the accounts during Excel/CSV Import.


• Other Campaign related improvements:
  
  
  
• Displaying the expected campaign card background for users with multiple sponsored devices linked to their account


• Displaying the branded card background when previewing the card in the Sign-Up process.

Custom Networks feature – it is now much easier to add new Social Networks in Poken due to the Custom Networks feature. HSG and Mini Japan have new custom social networks built using this feature.

Infrastructure Changes

• Core/API - the PHP_Hub_Dev database was removed along with some other things to reduce dependencies and system complexity.
