While I was looking in my contact timeline looking for someone I know that I Pokened with and they are not there at all. I also noticed that I am missing about 5 or more contacts in my timeline. I tried to connect my Poken to see if that would bring up any more contacts, but that failed as well.
Is there a way to get those contacts back onto my timeline? :(

Some of the people that I Pokened (and the little light turned green and everything!) are missing from my stream. This makes me very sad because the conference is over and I can't go find them! It was my only point of contact...

did you poken with more then 64 contacts?
If the contacts you poken with will upload their contacts and you are on their list, you'll see them on your timeline.

Hi! Nope, not more than 64. :( I think we just got a green light but no data exchange a couple of times.

I had this same problem - I had only 5 -8 contacts. All lost. I'm not happy at all.

Hi Shannon,
there are 2 explanation for this , either a device failure or a user fault.
Please, send me the Start_Poken.html file from your device so I can test it for issues of the device.
If your poken has an issue but the pokening went well and the other contacts will sync their pokens, you should see them in your timeline.

I have the same issue. I pokened with a few people, and I am missing them in the timeline. Not sure what happened, got a green light from the poken so I know it should have worked...very sad because I thought this was a very cool tool.

Hi Shauna,
It is very possible that the users you've pokened with have not yet created poken accounts. If this is the case, and I suspect this is it, you must know that unregistered users will not show up on your time line/contact list until they register. So, when they do, you will see all in your account.
To double check this issue please also send us your "start_poken.html file" - go to www.poken.com-support-troubleshooting... debug info and follow the given steps there.

I have the same problem :( I attended the CHI conference this past week and "pokened" with a number of recruiters and researchers I wanted to talk to and their information doesn't appear on the contacts list so now I have no way to get in touch with them :(

Did you synchronize your poken device with your account? After logging into your poken account please make sure you hit the green "sync my poken" button. Also do you see any "unregistered" contacts in your timeline?

I'm not sure if I'm trying to do something poken can't do... but it involves missing contact information...
I sync'd my poken onto my computer at home and updated my profile with data (photo included) plus could see all my poken contacts.
On my work pc, I've logged into poken and see my profile but no contacts. It has my profile info but no profile picture.
Should I be able to view my poken hub with data on different machines? I would assume so because this is all "in the cloud".
Any idea why I can't access all the data that I could before? This was from the CHI conference last week. -

Hi there,
What OS and Browser do you have on your work PC? Also do you see your dashboard differently than you see it on your home PC? If so please take a screen shot and send it to us at support@poken.com
When you added your picture at home, did you click on "save profile" (a green button, in the right corner)? In order to apply the changes you want to have in your profile, you always need to hit the "save profile" button.
Also, please try and clear your browser's cache and see what happens.

Bummer! I am missing a lot of my poken contacts too. I am sorry I used poken instead of trading business cards. Even on the ones that are showing up there isn't the contact information I would have received from their business card. Hopefully, EllieMae has some kind of roster from the conference. It was a cute idea but didn't work as I expected it to.

Sorry to hear about your disappointment. Please note that the information that appears on the cards of your poken contacts reflects what they've chosen to configure in their accounts. As a poken user you have the possibility of choosing what you want to share with the others.
Please send us an email at support@poken.com with your user name and your "Start_Poken.html/POKEN.HTM" file - it is located on the poken driver. Just copy and attach it to the email or use our online tool to get it - go to www.poken.com-support-troubleshooting - poken debug info and follow the given steps there.
